We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Health & Safety Supervisor within our drainage company. This is a new and important role within the business in which we would like you to provide support of effective safety leadership through the development of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies. The role will be office based. To be considered for the role it is essential that you hold a Health & Safety qualification. Main responsibilities include:-
- Manage and monitor annual Health and Safety Paperwork for purpose of maintaining the acreditations for CHAS, Safecontractor and Constructionline
- Maintain schedules for vehicle checks
- Maintain schedules for equipment checks
- PPE Assessments
- Overview and update all RAMS as required
- Monitor, Update and carry out Tool Box talks as required
- Undertake site inspections
- Support the managing directors policies on Health, safety, quality & environment
- Reporting all instances of poor standards to your manager
- Reporting all accidents, incidents, near misses and close calls to your manager
