SMB Plating Ltd is a well-established and growing metal finishing company based in Plymouth. We provide high-quality electroplating, anodising and surface finishing services to customers across a wide range of industries, including marine, aerospace, defence and engineering.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Production Operative to join our team.
What you'll be doing:
- Loading and unloading components onto plating jigs
- Operating production equipment and processing lines
- Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Working safely and following company procedures
- Assisting across different departments as required
What we're looking for:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Previous manufacturing or engineering experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided
