Take on the role of our Warehouse Coordinator and report to our Branch Manager supporting KPI achievement across the team.
Your primary tasks will be:

You will manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring the warehouse runs safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures and best practices.

You will support the Branch Manager in overseeing warehouse performance, stock control, and inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and effective operational planning.

You will coordinate warehouse production activities, project orders, and delivery schedules, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

You will lead and maintain Health & Safety compliance, promoting safe working practices and ensuring the warehouse meets all statutory and company requirements.

You will manage and develop warehouse team members, including recruitment, training, attendance management, performance reviews, and employee relations in line with company policies.

You will provide operational leadership and support for the wider branch, building strong customer relationships, maintaining company confidentiality, and deputising for the Branch Manager when required.
Are you our new colleague?
You are a confident and experienced warehouse operations professional with strong knowledge of warehouse management, stock control, goods receiving and dispatch, delivery coordination, and Health & Safety compliance. You have proven experience working in a busy warehouse environment and are comfortable leading teams, managing operational performance, and maintaining high standards of service and efficiency. You have a good understanding of people management processes, including attendance management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and staff development. You are also experienced in coordinating delivery schedules, monitoring inventory accuracy, and ensuring warehouse operations are conducted in line with company procedures. Experience supporting wider branch operations and deputising for senior management is highly desirable.
As a person, you are an organised and proactive leader who takes pride in maintaining high operational standards. You are safety-conscious, commercially aware, and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment. You have excellent communication skills and are able to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
In your way of working, you are detail-oriented, highly organised, and committed to continuous improvement. You are focused on maintaining excellent stock accuracy, efficient warehouse processes, effective housekeeping standards, and a productive, engaged team while supporting the Branch Manager in the successful day-to-day running of the branch.

What you bring

Experience managing warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective day-to-day running of warehouse activities.

Experience overseeing stock control, inventory accuracy, stock takes, and goods-in/goods-out processes, with a strong focus on maintaining operational standards.

Experience planning and coordinating production, customer orders, delivery schedules, and transport activities to meet service and business requirements.

Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and warehouse best practices, with experience promoting a safe and compliant working environment.

Experience leading and developing warehouse teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, and building positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
