WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Are you passionate about live events, theatre, and bringing unforgettable experiences to life? Were looking for a Technician to join our dynamic technical team and play a key role in delivering an exciting programme of cultural events across County Durham.
From theatre productions and live performances to festivals and community events, no two days are the same. Youll provide technical support for a diverse range of events at our iconic venues, Gala Durham, Empire Consett, and Bishop Auckland Town Hall as well as exciting events taking place across the county.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of established productions and innovative new projects, collaborating with talented colleagues to create exceptional experiences for audiences of all ages.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
Were looking for a versatile, enthusiastic Technician with experience in the theatre and live events industry, who has strong technical knowledge and a passion for delivering outstanding experiences for audiences and artists alike.
- A relevant theatre technical qualification, NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), or demonstrable equivalent industry experience.
- A current First Aid qualification, or a willingness to achieve one as part of your development.
- Experience working across a range of theatre and live event environments, with the skills and flexibility to support a high-quality technical service.

INTERVIEWS
It is expected interviews will be held week commencing 7th September.
