Job Description:
We are looking for a Skilled Baker to join our team @ Cakes +Co.
The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of recent professional baking /pastry/bread experience at a high level of production to join the Cakes + Co team.
You must also have the ability to work independently with attention to detail specifically in following recipes and good maths skills
We are looking for a professional baker with consistency in there performance and a career background working with fresh ingredients .
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of goods, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide support in food preparation and cooking tasks, leveraging culinary experience to enhance menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Baking preparation and techniques
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with larger scale food production process
