Paint Sprayer
Hours of Work: Morning / Afternoons (Rotating Shift)
Mornings - 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
Afternoons - 2pm to 12 midnight Monday to Thursday

About the Role:
We are looking for a Paint Sprayer where you will spray surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as enamel or epoxy. You will be able to demonstrate the understanding of mixing and ratios of the paints correctly to create the desired colour. Can demonstrate a good spraying technique. Can achieve the required standards specified by our different customers. Must be able to carry out quality checks on their work using a gloss meter and DFT gauge making sure they achieve the required thickness of paint. Can demonstrate good preparation using an orbital sander and cleaning off components before painting. Demonstrates an understanding of the use of the different spraying systems and set ups. Clearly understands the legal requirements of managing the different waste and by-products associated with painting and can dispose of all waste correctly. Demonstrates best practice by wearing the correct PPE in the spray booth - Air fed helmet, paper suit, gloves, and safety boots.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Selecting and mixing coating paints to desired colour and prepare spraying equipment such as cleaning or adjusting spray guns.
- Be capable of reading and understanding technical documents such as paint mixing procedures and maintaining sprayer equipment as required.
- Cleaning spraying equipment with solvent or other recommended cleaning solutions daily.
- Maintaining the paint mix room while following AET company safety policies.
- Maintaining proper respirator care and operation and using the breathing air supply system when spraying epoxy paints
- Must be willing to work extended hours or shifts as requested
