About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care while providing guidance and support to the wider care team. You will lead by example, ensuring our residents receive compassionate, respectful and person-centred care every day.
Working closely with the management team, you will help maintain the highest standards of care, support residents with their daily needs, and promote their independence, dignity and wellbeing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding person-centred care
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Administering medication (where trained and competent)
- Supervising and supporting Care Assistants during your shift
- Ensuring care plans are followed and accurately updated
- Communicating effectively with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
- Promoting a safe, welcoming and homely environment
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant or an experienced Care Assistant ready to progress
- Holds, or is willing to work towards, a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Has experience administering medication
- Is compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional care
- Has excellent communication and leadership skills
- Can motivate and support colleagues while leading by example
- Is passionate about making a positive difference to residents' lives
