We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in health status
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
- Promote a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
- Assist with light domestic tasks within the care setting, including organising activities that promote well-being
- Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments as required (driving experience preferred)
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and completing documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach towards residents or clients
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends if necessary
- Driving licence is preferred for roles involving home visits or outings
- A caring attitude with a commitment to delivering high standards of person-centred care
Pay: £13.00-£13.75 per hour
