Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to assist with excavation, site preparation, and material handling. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work safely and efficiently on various construction sites. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in operating excavators and related equipment to contribute to large-scale projects.
Duties
- Operate 360-degree excavators to carry out earthworks, drainage, foundations, road making.
- Conduct routine inspections of the machinery to ensure it is in safe working order, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment usage throughout each shift.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge of excavator systems and maintenance procedures.
- Proven experience operating 360-degree excavators in a commercial or construction environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent safety awareness and adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites.
