Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. The Early Years Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that foster learning, creativity, and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that support children's learning and development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Lead group activities that encourage social interaction and teamwork among children.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
- Drive initiatives that promote the importance of early childhood education within the community.
Experience
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred, however, if you do not have one. please still get in touch.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for childcare and an understanding of child development principles.
- Ability to engage with children at their level, fostering an environment of trust and encouragement.
