National Medicare Services Ltd is a CQC-registered care provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred home care and live-in care services to adults aged 18 and over. We are looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support tailored to each individual's needs, preferences and care plan.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting where required.
- Support with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration.
- Prompt or assist with medication in accordance with training and company policies.
- Support individuals with household tasks, including light domestic duties and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Accompany individuals to appointments, shopping and community activities where appropriate.
- Promote independence, dignity, choice and respect at all times.
- Build positive, professional relationships with individuals, families and healthcare professionals.
- Observe and report changes in an individual's physical or emotional wellbeing.
- Complete accurate care records and documentation following each visit or shift.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality.
- Adhere to all CQC standards, company policies and health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in health and social care is desirable but not essential, as full training may be provided for the right candidate.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards one, is desirable.
- Compassionate, patient and committed to delivering outstanding care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable, flexible and professional approach to work.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable for domiciliary care roles.
