Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Concrete Mini Mix Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will operate a specialized mini mix concrete truck to deliver high-quality concrete to various construction sites. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a concrete mini mix truck, ensuring proper handling and delivery of concrete mixtures.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet project deadlines and optimize fuel usage.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after shifts, checking mechanical components and fluid levels.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and quantities delivered.
- Communicate effectively with site managers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Assist with loading and unloading concrete as needed, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
- Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting or maintenance tasks when necessary to keep the vehicle in optimal condition.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating a mini mix or similar commercial vehicle preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor repairs.
- Familiarity with operating excavators or other construction equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to driving and construction site operations.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy loads when required.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and service excellence.
