We specialise in land-based education, offering students a curriculum that combines academic rigour with practical, real-world learning across agriculture, animal care, environmental management, conservation, countryside skills and related sectors.

The Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support the day-to-day running of our school kitchen and provide a high-quality meal service for our students and staff.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive team within a unique school environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with the preparation of food, including washing, peeling, chopping and basic cooking tasks
· Support the setup and service of meals to students and staff
· Ensure food is served in a friendly, efficient and professional manner
· Maintain clean and tidy kitchen and dining areas
· Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
· Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
· Help with stock rotation and basic kitchen organisation

· Reliability and punctuality
· Awareness of food hygiene standards (training will be provided if needed)
· Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential
