Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Dayshift/Backshift Care Assistants to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to residents in a care home. The ideal candidates will be committed to enhancing the wellbeing and independence of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities.
Duties
- Supporting individuals with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Assisting with meals as required
- Engaging residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided in compliance with organisational standards
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure personalised care delivery
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow prescribed routines accura
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Compassionate attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required
