Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Fulfilment Assistant to join our Fulfilment team. This role involves supporting the efficient processing of orders, handling materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of our day to day production flow. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and be comfortable with manual handling, mechanical tasks, and using warehouse management systems. Responsibilities
- Assist with picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily targets
- Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading stock from lorries or storage areas
- Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment safely, subject to appropriate training and certification
- Manage stock levels through regular stocking, replenishment, and inventory checks
- Utilise warehouse management systems to track order progress and update records accordingly
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for specific equipment such as forklifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar software is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts that may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
