About the Role
Milsoms Kesgrave Hall is looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our friendly team on a zero-hours basis.
You will play an important role in ensuring that our guest bedrooms and public areas are presented to the highest possible standard. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, take pride in their work and be able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms to the required hotel standard.
- Making beds and replacing bed linen and towels.
- Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing toiletries and guest supplies.
- Dusting, vacuuming and cleaning furniture, fixtures and fittings.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of corridors, public areas and other designated spaces.
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage or missing items promptly.
- Ensuring housekeeping equipment and cleaning products are used safely and stored correctly.
- Following all health and safety, hygiene and COSHH procedures.
- Responding politely and professionally to guest requests.
- Working closely with reception and the wider hotel team to ensure an excellent guest experience.
- Carrying out other reasonable housekeeping duties when required.

- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
