Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in residential communal areas of properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating welcoming, spotless environments for our clients. Prior experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous.
This position is for 15 hours a week, with the opportunity to increase, and hours must be taken between daytime hours of 9-5 across 3-5 days a week. The property is in Greenhithe.
All uniform and equipment will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Clean communal areas of block properties and estates.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure thorough cleanliness.
- Restock supplies as needed (reimbursed) and report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
- Provide excellent customer service and build a good relationship with residents.
- Maintain a high level of organisation and attention to detail during each cleaning session.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Flexible and willing to travel to different estates between Dartford and Greenhithe with flexibility to cover when needed at other properties across Kent.
- Organised, reliable, and punctual with excellent time management skills
- Physically fit to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Must have a car and valid UK driving license.
