The Old Vicarage Care Home is looking for a dependable Kitchen Assistant to join our team.
We provide residential care for older people, including some living with dementia. You'll help keep our kitchen running smoothly and ensure meals are prepared and served safely.
Hours 20–24 hours per week, 5 days a week, some flexibility for weekends
Duties Include
- Assisting with meal preparation and service
- Operating the commercial dishwasher
- Washing kitchen equipment
- Cleaning surfaces, floors and work areas
- Putting deliveries away
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures
. Experience in similar helpful but not essential with on the job training.
