Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club is seeking a skilled and dedicated Greenkeeper to join our experienced greenkeeping department. This is an excellent opportunity for a greenkeeper with proven ability who wants to contribute to the ongoing improvement and presentation of two well-established golf courses.
Start date: Flexible.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and practice facilities
- Operation and basic maintenance of a wide range of turf-care machinery
- Implementing turf management practices including aeration, top dressing, and spraying (PA1/PA2 preferable)
- Assisting with course setup, hole-changing, divotting, and general course presentation
- Supporting larger projects such as drainage, bunker work, and course development
- Working as part of a proactive and motivated team
About you:
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Sports Turf / Greenkeeping desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in a greenkeeping role
- Strong work ethic and pride in delivering high standards
- Good time-keeping and reliability
- Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and within a team
- PA1/PA2/PA6 certificates desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred

Hours & Requirements:
- Full-time position
- Early morning starts required
- Weekend work on a rota (2 - 3hrs at a weekend)
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
