Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic, reliable and practical Workshop & Site Support Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to ensure smooth operations across workshop activities and site maintenance. Your proactive approach will help maintain a clean, organised and presentable environment to keep things running smoothly.
Duties
- Assist with the setup, organization, and cleanup of workshop areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
- Support site maintenance tasks, including cleaning and keeping the premises looking tidy and presentable.
- Operate company vehicles for transporting tools, equipment, or supplies around the site or between locations
- Help coordinate deliveries and pickups, verifying shipments and ensuring proper handling of materials
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from team members or visitors professionally and promptly
- Wash and prepare customer vehicles to a high standard.
Requirements
- Due to the requirements of Brookspeed’s motor insurance policy, applicants must be aged 21 or over and hold a full UK driving licence, as driving and moving customer vehicles is an essential part of this role.
- This is a varied, hands-on role including moving and positioning customer vehicles, washing and preparing cars, collecting parts and completing deliveries,
- Excellent attention to detail. Reliable, punctual and trustworthy. Good spoken and written English
- Answer the telephone and welcome visitors if required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Cleaning and tidying, and providing general day-to-day support across the business.
- Able to follow instructions and procedures accurately
- Hours - Monday-Friday 8am - 6pm 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak (45 hours per week)
Pay: £29,742.00-£31,600.00 per year
