Humly are working with one of our clients who are recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to work permanently for them, full time 40 hours per week. They are looking for dedicated professional committed to supporting early years education and working with children aged 0–5. This role in particular is for the baby room so experience and confidence with babies in required. Must have a MINIMUM of 6 months childcare experience
All Level 3 staff must hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Paediatric First Aid (PFA) certificate in line with EYFS requirements.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development across all areas including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
- Observe and assess individual children's progress, maintaining detailed records to inform future planning and parent communication.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering strictly to health and safety policies, including hygiene protocols and risk assessments.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support a collaborative approach to early childhood care.
- Support children with special educational needs or developmental disabilities by adapting activities and providing tailored care plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Comply with all regulatory standards such as Ofsted requirements (or equivalent) and ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and confidential.
