Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 HGV C Category Multi Drop Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 17 Tonne lorry equipped to make palletised deliveries with the use of a pump truck so all pallet work, Working Early starts Shifts range starting from around 03:00am to 06:00am delivering goods safely and efficiently across various locations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on commercial driving, delivery, and use of hand held scanners for which (training can be provided). The ideal applicant will possess strong driving skills, a keen eye for safety, and the ability to manage deliveries with precision and professionalism. This role will be making deliveries of around 14 to 16 per day and routes out average day is 10 to 11 hours and it is a Full Time Permanent role and offers a basic pay of £16.64 hr working Monday to Friday and average earnings for the week are around £800.00 per week.
Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV C Category lorry for loading and unloading goods.
- Conduct pre-journey safety inspections of the vehicle and equipment to ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
- Plan delivery routes effectively, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to clients or sites.
- Assist with unloading of cargo by using a pump truck , and ensuring all items are properly secured for transit majority is all palletised work.
- Deliver goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery notes and logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any faults or damages promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with box vehicles.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and customer service.
- Knowledge of safe operating procedures with a pump truck #.
- Familiarity with driving regulations related to Class 2 HGV vehicles within the UK.

This role requires a dedicated professional capable of managing demanding schedules while prioritising safety and customer satisfaction. Candidates should possess relevant licences, including a valid Cat C (Class 2) licence, along with experience in any multi drop delivery work where applicable you must hold a valid cpc Card and Digital tacho card.
Pay: £750.00-£820.00 per week
