Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that foster students’ language skills, confidence, and love for learning. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with diverse age groups, including children and students requiring special education support. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective English lessons tailored to students’ age and proficiency levels
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence
- Assess students’ progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Support students with special educational needs by implementing appropriate strategies
- Foster a love of learning through engaging activities, discussions, and multimedia resources
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development and achievements
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English, preferably with children or young learners
- Knowledge of special education techniques is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging diverse learners
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet individual student needs
- Strong organisational skills to manage lesson planning and student records effectively
- Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their educational journey
- Patience, creativity, and a proactive approach to classroom management
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,410.00-£31,396.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 per week
