Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Support the storage of ingredients and supplies in designated areas, maintaining organization
- Help with waste disposal and recycling to uphold health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and workstations throughout shifts
- Support serving staff during busy service periods by clearing tables and assisting with basic hospitality duties
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to promote a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential—enthusiasm is key!
- Basic understanding of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues

- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving supplies throughout shifts
