Eden Tyres & Servicing is looking for an experienced Car Mechanic to join our team at our Castrol Service garage in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanic who is confident carrying out a wide range of mechanical repairs, diagnostics and servicing. You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped workshop alongside a friendly and skilled team, with access to the latest tools and diagnostic technology.
- Carry out a wide range of mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose and investigate vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Carry out clutch replacements, cambelt and timing belt replacements and other mechanical repairs
- Perform vehicle servicing to a high standard
- Repair and replace components including brakes, suspension, steering and other mechanical parts
- Accurately identify faults and recommend appropriate repairs
- Work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a mechanic or vehicle technician
- Confident carrying out diagnostics and more involved mechanical repairs
- Experience with clutch and cambelt/timing belt replacement
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
- Saturday: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
- No Sunday or Bank Holiday work
- £30,000 – £34,000 per annum
