Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within the venue. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred, but full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages efficiently and accurately, adhering to food safety standards
- Take orders from customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Prepare and garnish drinks according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Manage cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Assist in restocking supplies and ensuring the bar is well-organised at all times
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote ongoing patronage
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including alcohol licensing laws and food safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or restaurant roles is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required
- A professional attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
