About the Role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to join our team and take responsibility for coordinating the movement of vehicle purchases across our six sites.
This is a fast-paced role where you'll work closely with our preferred logistics partners and internal Sales Advisors to ensure vehicles are collected and delivered efficiently, keeping the process moving from purchase through to customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange transport to distribute vehicle purchases between each of our six sites.
- Coordinate with our preferred logistics companies to ensure swift and efficient vehicle collections.
- Work closely with our Sales Advisors to prioritise sold vehicles and ensure they are delivered as quickly as possible.
- Monitor vehicle movements and provide regular updates to relevant teams.
- Liaise with transport providers to resolve any collection or delivery issues.
- Ensure transport is booked efficiently and in line with agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, collections and deliveries.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our transport processes.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicating with both internal teams and external logistics providers.
- Able to manage multiple vehicle movements and priorities at the same time.
- Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong problem solver who can react quickly when plans change.
- Confident using computer systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, vehicle movements or a similar coordination role would be advantageous.

Pay: £25,420.00-£27,000.00 per year
