THE ROLE
Give guests warm, accurate and attentive service from arrival to payment. You will learn the menu, follow our allergen process, communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar and help the team keep service moving when the restaurant is busy.
Previous experience helps, but reliability, pace and a genuine interest in guests matter more. We provide paid training on our menu, service standards, ordering and payment systems, allergens and restaurant procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Welcome guests and manage your allocated section.
- Explain menus, specials and drinks accurately.
- Follow the restaurant’s allergen and dietary-information process before placing orders.
- Take accurate orders and communicate changes clearly to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and check back with guests.
- Handle bills and payments accurately.
- Keep tables and service areas clean, stocked and ready.
- Recommend dishes and drinks when they suit the guest.
- Support colleagues during busy services and complete opening or closing duties.
- Follow food-safety, licensing and health-and-safety procedures.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- You arrive ready for every agreed shift and communicate early if a genuine problem arises.
- Orders, bills and payments are accurate.
- Guests receive attentive service without feeling rushed.
- Allergen questions follow the correct process and are never guessed.
- Your section remains clean, organised and ready throughout service.
- You support colleagues when another section or service point becomes busy.
WHAT WE NEED

- Availability for the evening and weekend shifts agreed with you.
- Working English sufficient for orders, allergens and safety procedures.
- Previous restaurant experience is useful but not essential.
