Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced skilled Embroidery Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an embroidery machine to produce high-quality customised designs on various garments. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate embroidery machines according to design specifications and production schedules.
- Load garments and threads accurately to ensure optimal stitching results.
- Monitor machine operation throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of embroidery machines to ensure smooth functioning and longevity.
- Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain organised workstations and keep detailed records of production runs and machine settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating embroidery or similar textile machinery is required.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour matching, pattern accuracy and overall quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot machine issues effectively.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work efficiently within tight deadlines.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with different fabrics, threads and embroidery software is required.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
