As an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Technician, you will join CPI's Operations Support Team, providing technical maintenance expertise across our Wilton facilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and availability of plant and equipment, while supporting continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
Working at the forefront of innovation, you'll support cutting-edge research, development and scale-up activities across CPI's technology centres and specialist facilities. Although your primary focus will be our Wilton site, there may be opportunities to support activities at our Darlington and Sedgefield locations when required.
Reporting to the maintenance team leader and working under the direction of the Senior E&I Engineers, you will provide hands-on electrical and instrumentation support across a wide range of assets. This includes carrying out calibration, preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installations and equipment upgrades to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
Performing calibration, testing and commissioning activities.
Supporting equipment installation, modification and upgrade projects.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Working collaboratively with engineering, operations and project teams to deliver safe, reliable and efficient plant performance.
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety, Quality, GMP and regulatory requirements.
Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
