Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Maintain accurate records of care activities, observations, and any changes in health status using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or activities safely and responsibly when required
- Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving license with experience in driving safely in various conditions
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English to ensure clear understanding of care instructions and documentation
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic records and care plans efficiently
- Strong communication skills to build trustful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
