Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) Technician to join our innovative healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining HIFU equipment used for non-invasive medical treatments, ensuring precise delivery of therapy while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate HIFU equipment according to manufacturer specifications and treatment protocols
- Assist physicians during procedures by preparing the treatment area and ensuring optimal device positioning
- Monitor patients throughout treatments, ensuring comfort and safety while maintaining accurate documentation of each session
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HIFU devices to ensure consistent performance and safety standards
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs or coordinate repairs with technical support
- Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, calibration logs, and treatment data for compliance purposes
- Collaborate with team members to uphold clinic safety standards, including infection control and emergency procedures
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating complex medical or technical equipment
- Strong leadership skills to coordinate with medical staff and oversee equipment setup during procedures
- Prior construction or technical experience related to healthcare facilities is advantageous for understanding infrastructure requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and work effectively within a team
