Job Summary
We are seeking a Female Community Carer (Domiciliary) with a valid driving license to join our team in Garstang. This role involves providing high-quality home care services to clients, supporting their daily needs, and ensuring their safety and comfort. The position is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy making a positive difference in people's lives through dedicated care and reliable transportation.
Duties
- Deliver personalized home care assistance in accordance with individual care plans
- Safely transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities using company vehicles
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, medication reminders, and meal preparation
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure client safety during visits and transportation
- Keep accurate records of care provided and update care plans as needed
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with road safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with clean driving record
- Experience working in a care home or home care environment preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures related to domiciliary care is advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
