With over 44,000 stores worldwide, the Subway® brand is the largest sandwich chain globally. Due to continued growth across the UK, our franchise is seeking a motivated and reliable Supervisor to support the daily operation of our stores and help deliver high standards of quality, compliance and customer service.
The Supervisor works closely with the Store Manager and plays a key role in leading shifts, supporting team members and ensuring the restaurant operates safely, efficiently and in line with Subway® brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Training
- Support the recruitment, induction and ongoing training of team members in line with Subway® brand requirements
- Lead shifts and supervise staff, setting a positive example at all times
- Motivate staff to maintain high performance and customer service standards
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Subway® operational procedures and local authority food safety regulations
- Carry out opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety and hygiene standards throughout the store
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed to protect employees and customers
Stock & Cash Control
- Assist with stock control, deliveries and inventory checks
- Reduce wastage and monitor product quality and holding times
- Support cash handling procedures including till checks and daily banking where required
Customer Service
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Handle customer complaints or escalate to management when necessary
- Maintain product quality and presentation standards at all times
Administrative Duties
- Assist in preparing required paperwork relating to stock and sales
- Support scheduling and shift organisation when required
- Ensure the store is fully prepared for service periods
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a fast-paced retail, hospitality or food service environment
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience desirable
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and customer service
- Reliable, flexible and able to work under pressure
This role is ideal for a Team Leader or experienced Crew Member looking to take the next step into management within the Subway® brand.

- Monday to Sunday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
