Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and managing ledgers with precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in paying creditors on a monthly basis
- Prepare monthly invoices for LA and private fee payers
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries to provide clear insights into the organization’s fiscal health.
- Assist in budget development, monitor expenditures, and analyse variances to ensure financial stability.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense claims efficiently while adhering to company policies.
- Liaise with Home managers on financial matters and home petty cash
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial operations and improve reporting accuracy
- .Proven experience in finance, accounting, or a related administrative role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and payroll (XERO) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- To be AAT qualified or working toward the final stagesof AAT
- Ability to analyze data critically and communicate financial information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward process improvement.
Pay: £25,420.00-£41,167.48 per year
