Quantity Surveyor

Bell is one of the UK's largest property services contractors, delivering high-quality projects across the social housing, public and commercial sectors. We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Asset Management team in Newhouse.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial performance of planned and reactive maintenance contracts from tender through to final account, working alongside operational teams to minimise costs, maximise value and ensure commercial success.
What You'll Do
- Manage the commercial and financial performance of multiple contracts.
- Prepare valuations, CVRs, forecasts and final accounts.
- Manage subcontractor procurement and payments.
- Monitor contract costs, variations and cash flow.
- Build strong relationships with clients and the supply chain.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Support tenders and contribute to the continued success of the branch.
Essential Criteria
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within the social housing sector.
- Experience working with Schedule of Rates (SOR) and Non-Schedule Rates (NSR).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong commercial, financial and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working on PPP contracts.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
