Lawrence Rand is looking for self-employed estate agents to run their own business under our brand across Ruislip, Ickenham, Eastcote, Northwood, Pinner, Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Harrow and the surrounding areas.
Your name. Your patch. Your business. Our brand, systems and back office behind you.
WHAT YOU WILL EARN
You keep up to 70% of the fee on every sale you complete.
The average property in Ruislip sells for around £573,000. At a 1.25% fee that is a £7,170 fee, and £5,019 of it is yours.
Here is what that looks like over a year:
- 12 completions (one a month) = around £60,000
- 18 completions = around £90,000
- 24 completions (two a month) = around £120,000
- 36 completions (three a month) = around £180,000
These are worked examples, not a promise. This is self-employed, commission-only work and what you earn depends entirely on what you list and sell. But an employed senior negotiator in this market typically tops out around £51,000 to £82,000 OTE. You would beat that on one sale a month.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience listing and selling residential property in the UK
- Strong local knowledge of Ruislip and the surrounding areas
- Confident valuing property and winning instructions
- Self-motivated - nobody is going to stand over you
- Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
- Willing to operate as a self-employed contractor, as a sole trader or limited company
Estate agency experience is essential. This is not a trainee role.

THE HONEST BIT
This is self-employed work. There is no basic salary, no holiday pay and no pension. You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance, and you will need to be comfortable with income that moves month to month.
In exchange you keep the lion's share of what you bring in, and you build an asset that is yours.
