Storybook Studios is growing, and we are looking for creative, enthusiastic people to join our team across Kent and East Sussex!
We run reading inspired classes and workshops in preschools, schools and other venues bringing stories to life through cookery, music, drama, movement, yoga and creative writing.
Our aim is to inspire a love of reading from an early age in exciting and memorable ways and we are always open to new class ideas and creative skill sets.
Roles Available
We are currently looking for:
- Class Leaders
- Session Assistants
The roles are highly flexible, and we will work with you to create a schedule that suits your availability and preferred number of sessions.
We’re Looking for People Who Are:
- Creative and enthusiastic
- Passionate about working with children
- Reliable and organised
- Flexible and adaptable
- Confident leading or supporting activities
We would especially love to hear from people with skills or experience in:
- Cooking
- Singing/music
- Yoga/movement
- Drama/storytelling
- Arts & crafts
- Early years education
- Or any other creative specialism!
Locations
We currently run sessions across East Sussex and are expanding. Current areas include:
- Wadhurst
- Mayfield
- Rotherfield
- Crowborough
- Langton Green
Hours
- After-school clubs
- Workshops take place during school holidays and occasional Saturdays throughout the year
Pay
- Assistants: £15 per hour
- Class Leaders: £25–£35 per session (dependent on class and experience)
- Higher rates available for workshops
