Plasterer / Tiler - Reactive Maintenance

Salary: £38,000 Basic + Up to £500 Per Month Performance Bonus

We are recruiting an experienced Plasterer / Tiler to join a well-established maintenance team delivering reactive repairs and maintenance services across social housing properties in the Hackney area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a large housing association, working within occupied residential properties and providing high-quality repairs and maintenance services to tenants.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plastering and tiling repairs within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.
Typical duties include:
- Patch plastering and full room plastering
- Wall and floor tiling repairs and replacements
- Making good following maintenance works
- Rendering and skimming
- Diagnosing repair requirements and completing works efficiently
- Working in occupied properties with excellent customer service standards
- Completing job sheets and reports accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plasterer and Tiler
- Experience working within social housing, reactive maintenance, or property maintenance environments
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Relevant trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential with proven experience
