About the role
We are seeking a practical and organised Housing & Property Coordinator to ensure our accommodation is safe, well maintained, and ready for people seeking asylum who are destitute and have No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF).
You will work closely with another coordinator who focuses on resident support and engagement. Together you will ensure both safe homes and strong support.
What you will do
- Carry out property inspections across 5 homes
- Identify and manage repairs and maintenance issues
- Liaise with contractors, landlords, and housing providers
- Support move-ins and move-outs
- Practical resident support
- Ensure properties are safe, clean, and ready for residents
- Support house meetings and day-to-day housing issues
- Provide practical housing-related support to residents
- Maintain accurate property records
Experience
- Proven experience with Yardi or comparable property management software is desirable
- Previous office experience, particularly within administrative or housing environments, is advantageous
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting
- Good communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation
- Experience in upselling or promoting additional services is a plus
- Familiarity with general administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and record keeping
About you

- 18 hours per week
- Wednesday Thursday and Friday
- Working across 5 properties
- Salary: £27,500 FTE (pro rata)
Pay: £27,500.00 per year
