About the Role
We are currently recruiting self-employed Security / Concierge Officers to support several new residential developments across East London.
This role combines front-of-house concierge duties with security responsibilities. You will be responsible for maintaining a strong on-site presence, ensuring the safety of residents, visitors, and contractors, while delivering excellent customer service.
Shifts are 12 hours, covering both days and nights, rota of approximately 18 shifts per month. Flexibility to work across multiple locations is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong and visible security presence within residential buildings
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and vigilance at all times
- Book in contractors and manage access to the building
- Handle post and deliveries securely and efficiently
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, escalating when required
- Complete accurate incident and observation reports
- Provide a professional and approachable presence for residents, staff, and visitors
- Assist with general enquiries, directions, and support
- De-escalate confrontational situations calmly and effectively
- Follow all site procedures, company policies, and legal requirements
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding)
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Reliable, proactive, and professional attitude
- Flexibility to work across multiple East London locations
- Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
