Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety protocols, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations are completed to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on-site.
- Hours of work are Monday - Friday 40hrs a week but overtime will be availble.
- Pay will be depending on experience and qualifications.
- Your get 20 days paid hoilday with bank hoildays on top.
- You will be supplied with a company van, mobile and uniform.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
- Must hold a gold ECS card.
- 18th edition wiring regulations.
- Must have a minium of 5 years experience in commercial and industrial environments.
- Clean dring licence.
- Must have your own hand tools and drills.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
