Job Title - Manufacturing Supervisor
Reporting to - General Manager
Hours of work
08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday; 08.00 – 15.00 Friday; Full Time
Salary/Wage - £ Neg; paid 4 weekly
As a busy expanding Company, we urgently require a Supervisor to join our Manufacturing Team .
Sabeti Wain Aerospace Ltd is a multi-national Company leading the field within the Design & Supply of soft furnishings for Commercial Airlines.
Personal Attributes :
- Previous experience working within a fast moving manufacturing environment
- Strong manufacturing experience is essential with the ability to manage production, plus developing and delivering process improvements
- Experience of MRP systems
- Strong organisational skills
Specific Responsibilities :
- Responsibility for the day-to-day Supervision of the Production Team, to ensure all production targets are achieved and making certain all Customer orders are delivered on time, whilst maintaining the correct Quality standards
- To drive productivity, making the best use of the production resources available, working with the Production Team to improve process, plus schedule and improve training methods and practices
- To identify and resolve problems, communicating effectively with Senior Management to report any day-to-day issues
This Position requires the following key skills and attributes :
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and proven experience of motivating a team
- The ability to work to a scheduled production plan
- The ability to respond positively to changing demands with a positive ‘can-do’ approach
- Self-motivated to complete tasks to plan
