Job Summary
We are seeking a Electricians mate/ labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background of assisting electricians in electrical systems and installations, with the ability to work and as part of a team. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Working out of town is essential for this role.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair BMS systems and equipment in commercial and industrial environments.
- Assisting installing a variety of metal containment.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of working in a commercial environment.
- Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
