Salary: Lecturer Scale £35112.48 - £41600.00 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
East Coast College Apollo Project is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer to work with young people aged 18 to 25 in the Felixstowe area who are currently Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).
Working as part of the Widening Access Demonstrators Programme, you will deliver Level 1 Care Certificate and support participants in developing the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to progress into employment, volunteering or further training opportunities within the health and social care sector.
The role will involve building positive relationships with participants, employers, community groups, and partner organisations, as well as supporting outreach and engagement activities to encourage participation from individuals facing barriers to employment. You will also be working as part of a team.

**East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.
Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
