Job Overview
Working as part of a small team, your role as Trainee Blind Assembler will start by learning all aspects of the window blind and shading trade. You will be given training and support to learn disciplines such as – Health and Safety, Assembly & Manufacturing and Installation of all products across both Domestic and Commercial applications. When you first start, you will be required to shadow member of our current team; slowly building up a basic knowledge of the blind industry and the variety of products we offer. From there, we will introduce you to our tools and manufacturing process showing you how to safely operate in your local and wider environment.
Responsibilities
- Assembling of blinds; using hand tools and power tools according to technical specifications.
- Inspect assembled products for quality, accuracy, and completeness, making adjustments as necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
- Occasional answering of calls/customer enquiries
- Assisting with the installation of blinds.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of stock and materials.
Experience
No prior experience required however any prior experience in retail or in public facing roles would be beneficial. As well as an interest in interior design and decoration. The ideal candidate will be punctual and show commitment to the training. Other desirable traits would be;

Rate of pay offered will be reflective of age and experience level.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
