We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and ambitious individual to join our growing businesses.
You'll be working across two companies:
Gaia Powered – A renewable energy company specialising in Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, Battery Storage, Air Conditioning, EV Charging, and energy consultancy.
Nelson Charles – An M&E installation and maintenance company delivering mechanical and electrical services across commercial and residential projects.
This is not a traditional Project Coordinator role.
We're looking for someone who wants to become a key part of two growing businesses. Someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and wants to grow alongside the companies.
You'll work directly with the founders and gain exposure to project management, operations, administration, recruitment, marketing, and business growth.
The Role
No two days will be the same.
One day you may be ordering materials for a commercial project and coordinating engineers. The next you could be raising purchase orders, booking installations, creating social media content, assisting with recruitment, or helping solve operational challenges.
The successful candidate will become the organisational hub of both businesses, helping ensure projects, people, suppliers, and clients remain coordinated and supported.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination
- Booking surveys, maintenance visits, and installations
- Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Scheduling project activities across commercial and domestic projects
- Supporting project managers and directors with project delivery
- Managing project documentation and records
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring deadlines are met
Procurement & Purchasing
- Ordering materials and equipment
- Raising and managing purchase orders
- Liaising with suppliers and negotiating lead times
- Tracking deliveries and managing procurement schedules
Executive Support
- Supporting the Directors with day-to-day business activities
- Managing diaries, meetings, and priorities
- Assisting with business administration and reporting
- Supporting operational improvements and business processes
Marketing & Recruitment Support
- Assisting with social media content creation and scheduling
- Supporting recruitment campaigns and candidate coordination
- Helping maintain company websites and marketing activity
- Supporting business development initiatives where required

Desirable Experience
While not essential, experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- Project coordination
- Administration
- Operations support
- Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant roles
- Procurement or purchasing
- Social media management
- Construction, engineering, renewable energy, or M&E industries
Working Arrangement
This role is primarily office-based with some site visits as we believe the best collaboration, learning, and development comes from working closely together.
We would ideally like the successful candidate in the office four to five days per week, although some flexibility can be offered when required.

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
