Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team in maintaining various sites throughout Cambridge. We have vacancies for either a full time position or a flexible working week. The ideal candidate will be passionate about horticulture and possess a keen eye for detail.
Duties:
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to maintain the grounds
- Irrigate plants and lawns as needed
- Assist in growing and nurturing plants
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, and pruning
- Conduct general groundskeeping duties to upkeep the appearance of the garden
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role is required
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for gardening tasks
- Knowledge of garden care techniques and plant maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve landscaping goals
- Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work
