We’re looking for someone practical, easy-going, and experienced with MIG welding to join our small family-run team.
Most of our work involves fabricating and modifying specialist road construction equipment, so no two jobs are ever exactly the same. One day might involve straightforward fabrication, the next could be working out the best way to mount a tank onto a vehicle chassis or fabricate a custom bracket to suit a specific job.
If you can MIG weld 2–6mm mild steel, have a bit of mechanical common sense, and enjoy problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you.
This role could suit:
- Someone semi-retired wanting to keep their hand in
- A fabricator/welder looking for more relaxed, flexible work
- Someone who enjoys varied workshop jobs rather than repetitive production welding
What we’re looking for:
- MIG welding experience (2–6mm mild steel)
- Basic mechanical understanding
- Ability to work from ideas/sketches and solve problems practically
- Reliable and self-motivated attitude
- Forklift or workshop experience is a bonus, but not essential
What we offer:
- Flexible hours to suit the right person
- Friendly working environment
- Small family-run business where you’re genuinely valued
- Varied and interesting work
- Opportunity to be part of a growing company
We’re not a huge corporate company — just a hardworking team building quality equipment and trying to grow the business the right way.
If this sounds like your kind of role, please get in touch for a chat.
