Van Driver – Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Hannah Foods Service, Skelmersdale (Custom-Built Distribution Centre)
OTE: £26.284.50
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Morning starts between 6:00am – 8:00am
Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week / 37.5 hours per week paid (plus 30-minutes
unpaid break and 30-minutes paid break per day)

Hannah Food Service is a well-established food distribution company currently expanding its Transport team. We are seeking full-time, permanent Van Drivers to join us. In addition, for those looking to progress, we offer opportunities for paid training and career development to achieve an HGV Class 2 licence.
You will be based at our custom-built distribution centre in Skelmersdale, delivering fresh, ambient, and frozen products to our valued, long-standing customers.
With regular, pre-planned routes assigned each day of the week, delivering to our established customer base. This role offers consistency, work-life balance, and the opportunity to build strong customer relationships.

What You will Be Doing
· Delivering goods to multiple customers across assigned routes
· Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks and defect reporting.
· Keeping vehicles clean and presentable in line with company standards.
· Completing all delivery documentation accurately
· Reporting any accidents, damage, or customer issues according to procedures
· Handling cash payments when required.
· Using sack trucks and handballing stock when necessary

Requirements
· A full UK driving license (Category B)
· Excellent communication and numeracy skills
· Good attendance and timekeeping
· Strong focus on safety and compliance
· Experience in multi-drop delivery or similar roles (desirable)
· Excellent customer service and a professional attitude
· A positive attitude and strong work ethic
· A willingness to learn and grow – HGV training opportunities are fully funded!

Salary & Bonus
· Base Salary: £24,784.50 per year (£12.71 per hour)
· Discretionary Bonus: £125.00 per month
· OTE: £26,284.50 per year
